Beth Dobson
Registered Massage Therapist, Certified Yoga Teacher

Beth Dobson is a Registered Massage Therapist, a Thai Yoga Massage Therapist, and Certified Yoga Teacher. She graduated from the Kiné Concept Institute of Massage Therapy in June of 2003.

Beth has continued to educate herself in other massage modalities such as Reflexology, Soft Tissue Release, Myofascial Release, and Therapeutic Cupping. Beth has always had a deep interest in Peri-natal care and has continued her education in Pre and Post Natal Massage and Yoga. Beth's passion for Traditional Thai Yoga Massage ultimately lead her to complete her 200hrs Yoga Teacher Training in Ashtanga style and her pre-natal Yoga Teacher Training.

Beth's own special blend of education and experience has made her a leader in the massage and yoga communities here in Moncton. The extensive anatomy training achieved in her Massage Therapy Degree gives her an edge when teaching yoga, and her deep understanding of yoga enhances her massage as well as the home care she can provide to her clients.

“It is about connecting the mind, the body and the spirit, a lot of people do not live in that harmony and don’t understand or listen to what their body is trying to tell them. Very often pain is coming from much more than a physical injury or tension. Once we are aware of our body and it’s subtle messages we can figure out where the pain is coming from, or better yet prevent it from starting. We are also more capable of handling stress both physically and mentally and we can enjoy our lives in a balanced way.” ~ Beth

Angela Allain

Registered Massage Therapist, Reiki Practitioner

Angela Allain is a graduate of ICT Northumberland College (2009), with training in various massage styles and techniques, including therapeutic/deep tissue,
myofascial, trigger point release, hot stone, relaxation, Thai yoga, suikodo, and manual lymph drainage. Additionally, she has studied peripheral joint mobilizations, stretching, and strengthening techniques. Angela’s interest in holistic therapies began at a young age; she had a natural inclination towards massage and was encouraged to pursue massage therapy as her career. As she worked toward that goal, she began to take additional training in the health field, including becoming a Reiki practitioner (completed in 2002), working her way up to Reiki Master/Teacher (2010), as well as becoming a Certified Ear Candler (2007) and, most recently, she graduated at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition and became a certified Iridologist (2016). She is currently enrolled in studies for Certified Holistic Nutritionist Practitioner at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition College, which she is near completing.
Angela walks the talk, living a healthy lifestyle by eating organic and raw foods, practicing yoga, belly dancing, swimming, biking, kung fu, and going to the gym
regularly. She worked in health food stores for over four years, receiving on-the-job training in nutrition as well as attending industry conferences, and now facilitates
holistic healing workshops.

Caroline Joyal

Registered Massage Therapist

Caroline is delighted to be back in Moncton after a rich 8 years adventure in Toronto where she graduated in Massage Therapy at Kikkawa College. She also had the honour to study with renowned teachers of different walks of life and explore a wide range of modalities to help support her understanding of health. Her journey in the profession started with a College diploma in Physical Rehabilitation acquired in Sherbrooke, Qc in 1999. Then her lifestyle in extreme sports and dance led her to some injuries that gave her a personal exploration of the body’s fragile yet resilient ecosystem. She also got to deepen her curiosity about the human condition by graduating from a BA with honours in Psychology here at UdeM in 2011.

Caroline’s approach navigates between different philosophies of treatment and is centred in the belief that everything is interconnected. She is an apprentice in a rare form of Lomi Lomi (Hawaiian massage). She specializes in Swedish and Thai massage, and enjoys integrating aspects of Myofascial work, Reflexology, Sports and Indie Head Massage in her sessions. She loves working with the elements of energy, fluidity, movement, rhythm and texture to co-create a tailored harmonious massage with her client. She believes in the tremendous benefits of developing abilities to listen to our body and raising our body awareness. She finds it can be extremely helpful for preventing injuries and recognizing when and where to seek out for support.

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. (Reiki.org)
